Visited on a Monday at around 7.30pm, it was crazy busy with delivery drivers - every minute another one arrived. I ordered takeaway fish and chips which did take a while but the service was efficient and price very good. Large chips was a generous portion. The food was excellent, nicely battered fish and the chips were very nice as well.
I came here for the first time 2 years ago and it was delicious. Came again today and it's just as good! Made this my stop before boarding the ferry to France. Thank you for the excellent meal and the friendly service!
A lively welcome and the best fish and chips we have had in a long time. The surroundings may be basic but the food and the staff are first class!!
Favourite dish ever now is their pulled pork with nacho cheese sauce on chips, best chips ever all perfect as don't like the crispy bits & there's non. Kids said have recently taken milkshakes off the menu 🤞🤞 they bring them back, don't know if still serve in shop. UPDATE: Sad can't get loaded pulled pork (no other dish anywhere can come close for me) on delivery (delivery my only option) anymore, please! can you bring it back, if unable for some reason, then either pulled chicken same sauce or the sauce with unbattered chicken strips.
